On behalf of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and ICT4Peace Academy, we are pleased to invite you to participate in an upcoming cybersecurity capacity-building course. This training is part of a Swiss government initiative to support cybersecurity personnel and the resilience of International Organizations (IOs) with a host state agreement and NGOs headquartered in Switzerland.

  1. Course Details
    • Date: 18 September 2024
    • Time: 9:00-12:00, followed by lunch. Registration and Coffee will begin at 8:30
    • Target Audience: Cybersecurity personnel from IOs and NGOs in Geneva
    • Location: Impact Hub, 1 Avenue Fendt, 1201 Geneva (near Cornavin train station)

Course Objectives

    • Enhance skills in assessing network vulnerabilities.
    • Provide hands-on experience with cyber threat analysis and network security.
    • Build capacity within your organization’s cybersecurity domain.
    • Foster a community of cybersecurity professionals in International Geneva.

Overview

The training will be conducted in collaboration with FIRST (Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams), providing expert content and guidance, with organizational support from ICT4Peace.

Upon completion, you will have a deeper understanding of network vulnerabilities and practical tools for cyber threat analysis, contributing to enhanced cyber resilience in your organization.
