The ongoing controversy over the leadership of the US Library of Congress demonstrates the global importance of this Institution.

The Library of Congress serves inter alia as the primary research arm of the U.S. Congress, providing lawmakers with nonpartisan analysis and policy expertise through the Congressional Research Service (CRS). It also oversees the U.S. Copyright Office, managing copyright registrations and offering guidance on intellectual property law.

ICT4Peace is proud to mention the 10 year anniversary of the listing of the following groundbreaking ICT4Peace publications by the Congressional Research Service (CRS) in its annual 2015 report: Cybersecurity: Authoritative Reports and Resources, by Topic

  1.  Confidence Building Measures and International Cybersecurity

2. Baseline Review – ICT-related Processes and Events. Omplications for International and Regional Security.

3.  A Rolle for Civil Society ? ICTs, Norms and Confidence Building Measures in the Context of International Security.

ICT4Peace wishes to extend its deep gratitude to authors of these reports: Camino Kanavagh, Eneken Tikk and Tim Maurer.
