ICT4Peace on 29 April to 3 May 2024 is carrying out its newest version of its course “Protection of critical infrastructure and critical information infrastructure against cyber attacks” in Costa Rica in cooperation with the Organisation of American States.
Anne-Marie Buzatu, Executive Director of ICT4Peace and Prof. Przemysław Roguski, Senior Advisor of ICT4Peace are co-lecturers of this course. The objective of the course is to equip participants from OAS Member States to support better protection of these essential services and installations!
Anne-Marie Buzatu, Executive Director of ICT4Peace: “What an amazing and inspiring week here in Costa Rica teaching this Organización de los Estados Americanos course on “Protection of Critical Infrastructure and Critical Information Infrastructure from Cyber Threat” together with international lawyer extrordinaire Przemysław Roguski. The participants from Costa Rica, Colombia and Dominican Republic, who came from both diplomatic/policy and technical backgrounds were fantastic: super engaged, curious and hard working. I hope–and I really do believe–that we are leaving this course having learned a lot that we can apply to our work to help safeguard our critical infrastructure, and keep our societies safe! Special shout out to host Costa Rica, who have welcomed us so generously, and also helped us to experience some of Costa Rica’s natural wonders!”
