“Cyberspace is a fertile environment for the proliferation of malicious software and practices. Uncontrolled multiplication of cyberattacks and of their harmful effects, re-exploitation of zero-day vulnerabilities, diversion of tools and software developed by private companies or public actors: many illustrations of this phenomenon are now recognized by the international community. Yet, uncertainties remain on how to effectively prevent and mitigate such risks. This expert roundtable will bring together senior representatives from Governments, international organizations, academia, civil society and the private sector to propose a multistakeholder path forward to tackle the proliferation of malicious software”
