The Swiss government is currently working on implementing a cybersecurity competence center and has recently presented the first measures to be taken. ICT4Peace has followed this process closely and is in regular exchange with members of the Swiss Parliament, among them the politician who launched the request to create this Swiss cybersecurity competence center.

On 4th of July the Swiss Federal Department of Finances (where the competence center would be established) presented its strategy which was judged to be very insufficient by the ICT4Peace cybersecurity experts Dr. Stefanie Frey, Dr. Serge Droz and Dr. Daniel Stauffacher, Founder and President of ICT4Peace. On 24th of July the team therefore sent an open letter to the Swiss Parliament and spread its opinion among Swiss media. The response quote was high and positive.
