The subsequent discussions with the experts highlighted how digitalized surveillance infrastructures permeate our everyday life. Moreover, how large amounts of personal data are voluntarily and involuntarily shared with unknown, often unregulated sources. The panel concluded with a call that a discussion in what kind of a digital society we want to live is urgently needed, at all levels of society.

The panel discussion was moderated by Martina Huber with an outstanding panel of experts: Lauren Huret (Artist http://www.laurenhuret.com) , Florian Wüstholz (journalist https://www.wuestholz.ch), ETH Professor Dr. Margarita Boenig-Liptsin (https://lnkd.in/eS5u8Kz9), Dominika Blonski (Data Protection Commissioner Canton Zurich and Boris Magrini (Curator at HEK in Basel https://lnkd.in/eq-3rZtu)
