Julia-Silvana Hofstetter is a Senior Advisor at the ICT4Peace Foundation. She advises the foundation on digital peacebuilding, disinformation and hate-speech in armed conflict, humanitarian data governance, and cybersecurity & gender. She is also President and Founder of Women in International Security (WIIS) Switzerland and Co-Head of the Peace & Security Program at the Swiss Forum on Foreign Policy. She currently also serves as an Advisory Group member at Chatham House for a project on Cybersecurity & Gender and was a WIIS Global NextGen Fellow on Cybersecurity & Gender 2021/2022. She previously worked for the Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich, the Geneva Center for Security Policy (GCSP), the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), and the Department of Political Science at the University of Zurich. Julia holds a Master in International Relations and Political Science from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) Geneva.
