Workshop hosted by Daniel Stauffacher Ambassador for the World Summit on the Information Society on ICT4Peace

A workshop hosted by the Office of the Delegate of the Swiss Federal Council for the World Summit on the Information Society and co-organised with WSP International . The workshop was intended to address a number of needs within the ICT4P process. In particular, the workshop was intended 1) to include user-centric “bottom-up” inputs in the ICT4P process (experiences, insights, lessons, as well as validations of supply-side ideas and models) through direct consultations with field practitioners from countries affected by violent conflict, and 2) to enlarge and strengthen the ICT4P network, bringing more field practitioners into the process and facilitating their own networking.
