The ICT4Peace Academy, along with OAS is proud to support ITU’s Her CyberTracks program with a tailor-made Cyber Diplomacy Course for women leaders, which was held online from 14 to 16 August 2023.

40 women policymakers and cyber diplomats from Albania, Georgia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine participated in this course. The next course will be carried out in September with women participants from the ECOWAS Region.

The ITU-OAS-ICT4Peace Cyber Diplomacy Course supports ITU’s “Her Cyber Tracks” program, which “aims at promoting the equal, full, and meaningful representation of women in cybersecurity for a more resilient cyberspace for all. With the support of GIZ, commissioned by the Federal Foreign Office, ITU−D and partners will help bridge the gender, capacity, and workforce gaps in cybersecurity by enabling, inspiring, and empowering women … through capacity building, mentoring, employment opportunities and networking.”
This course is part of the ICT4Peace Academy’s Cybersecurity Capacity Building Program. Please find a description of the Program since 2014 here
